This restaurant has been around Diamond Bar for so many years. I've ordered quite a few times in the past mostly for takeout, potlucks and dinners. The interior setting is very outdated, I'm guessing it must be why there are hardly any dining patrons that frequent the place. This time, hubby & I decided to eat in one late Sunday afternoon. Got our order fast (Seafood pan fried noodle and sweet & sour fish fillet); compared to most places in Alhambra or MP, Jade may not be the best restaurant per se, but the food was tasty enough and we were satisfied. Overall, reasonable prices, simple, no-frills Cantonese food without the wait.

We recently had a birthday party with almost 40 dinner guests. Fabio our chef, Lynn and Shawn our bartender and Ro was our server. Chris helped us plan a menu that was a good value as well as delicious. The party was a HUGE success thanks to these folks. We had dinner then danced until midnight. Parking is plentiful. We arrived at 5:30pm and no one was there. We ordered the family Prix fixe menu and we were happy with the food, especially the lemon chicken. So crispy and flavourful. The rice was also something else. A bit on the oily side, but that's Chinese cuisine for you. I called the day before to order Peking duck and asked for it to be ready in time for our reservation so we wouldn't have to wait. They served it alongside the other mains - it did not disappoint! Such crunchy skin inside a pillowy soft bao, dipped in hoisin...we were in heaven. Service was fast and the employees are kind. They attended to our every need. They weren't stingy with napkins or to go boxes. All in all, even if the decor looked a little outdated and worn, we didn't mind so much. The food was the star of the evening and will be one of the many reasons we'll keep coming back!

My friend treated us to a lunch nearby his house. It's inside the mall with Walmart. Place is fast food with tables. It has HK style BBQ pork etc and dishes. On a Friday noon, we were one of 2 tables sitting, seems most of customers order To go and take outs. We ordered beef noodles, sweet & sour fish fillet and one spring roll (4) There are 2 kids and 2 adults. All the dishes taste good. So I think it is safe to order fast food Chinese dishes. Service is quick considering the waitress is wearing multiple hats and also manages the fast food dishes. It's more of 3.5 star as the place do need to be updated and menu and wall menus are a bit eccentric. Hopefully they can turn it around.

I honestly didn't know what to expect walking into this restaurant, it was around noon and no one was else was here. My partner and I were a bit hesitant as we were ready to walk out, I said, let's give them a try! We ordered 2 items, an eggplant dish and kung pao chicken both, hella good! About 30 mins later people were walking in and getting the special, I think it was the lobster, too bad I'm allergic to shellfish. Don't be fooled by the pictures on the wall, this place is bomb yo!

Rained today. Looking for a nice bowl of hot delicious soup But Saigon house was packed to the door with ppl today, and I didnt want to wait, so I looked around. Luckily Jade house was here. Got wonton noodle soup, and added bbq pork. It was delicious! Perfect for a cold and rainy day. I got my soup in a jiffy and it was plenty of food. Leaving happy, so I'm gonna try some more stuff in the future.
